COVID-19 Visitor & Policy Update

Starting Monday, May 24th, we will reopen for in office doctor appointments

(or curbside if you prefer)

The entire Crosswater Animal Hospital team would like to thank all our clients for your kindness and patience while we are navigating our way through changing COVID-19 protocols.

You have remained patient with increased wait times and busy phone lines. Thank you for your understanding.

When you call to make your appointment, we will ask you if you want to be seen curbside or if you want an in-clinic appointment. Please be sure to tell us which type of appointment you prefer.

We will remain only curbside for the following:

  • Technician appointments: nail trims, anal gland expressions, removing sutures, etc.
  • Pet drop off
  • Pet pick up

We ask clients to remain on-site in your vehicle during your pet’s curbside appointment so you are immediately available should we have any questions and to return your pet as quickly as possible. The doctor will visit with you about your pet either at your car or by phone. Prescriptions and medications dispensed in house will be brought to your car when your pet is returned.

We cannot wait to welcome you all back into our hospital, and we have a few new rules that we hope you’ll follow when you visit:

  • Please call upon arrival so that we can minimize traffic in the lobby.
  • You must wear a mask when inside our hospital.
  • Only two adults may accompany the pet into the exam room (We will also continue curbside service for those that would prefer to remain outside.)
  • You will be checked out in the exam room. Please be patient as we want to maintain safety for you as well as our team.

* It is essential that anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath), or who has been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, or who has traveled internationally in the last 14 days to please reschedule your appointment for a later date.

The veterinary industry has had to endure a lot of change over this past year. We still ask that you continue to wear a mask indoors while interacting with staff regardless of your vaccination status until further notice.

Your continued compliance, understanding and patience have truly made a difference for all of us at Crosswater Animal Hospital. Thank you!
